The choice metal quartet Spite was formed in July 1996 in Charlotte, NC, having a lineup comprising vocalist Chris Boone, guitarist Craig Baker, bassist Josh Pratt, and drummer Byron McDonald. Acquiring their cues from your slim, stripped-down assault of organizations just like the Deftones or Korn, Spite documented an album entitled Large Whipping Cream and toured the East Coastline relentlessly, eventually getting a recording agreement with Prosthetic Information. Their nationwide debut recording, Bastard Complex, premiered in 1999.
