This British boogie group was formed on Merseyside in 1976 from the Burrows brothers. The music group comprised bassist/vocalist Brian Burrows, drummer Rob E. Burrows and guitarists Sniffa and Col Harkness. After incessant gigging round the north-west, they relocated to London and had been eventually authorized by RCA Information in 1983. They debuted with Rock and roll ‘N’ Move Gypsies, a fuel-injected assortment of boogie-based rockers, similar in nearly every respect towards the style of Position Quo. After that, they were seen as a poor-man’s Quo. The recording offered miserably and RCA decreased them. Found by A&M Information, they released Hard Justice, a semi-concept affair regarding a courtroom trial. Spider had been the defendants, becoming accused of playing rock rock ‘n’ move. Another flop, it remaining the music group with out a label once again. Undaunted they plodded on, with Stu Harwood changing Sniffa on acoustic guitar in 1986. Shifting towards the Mausoleum label, they created IMPROVE THE Banner exactly the same 12 months. Musically that they had not really progressed, and the marketplace for low-tech, three-chord boogie demonstrated an ever contracting one. Outdated, and from luck, they split up soon after the recording premiered. Brian Burrows is currently a cartoonist and record sleeve developer.
