Spanish Prisoners certainly are a musical collective who have become very much dominated by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Leonid Maymind, who sings, composes, and produces all the materials. A Latvian indigenous who relocated to america with his family members at age three, he sings flexible, thoughtful, and somewhat dark indie pop-folk-rock on Spanish Prisoners’ 2008 debut recording, Songs to Neglect.
