Southern Comfort

Comprised of associates Carl Barnwell (guitar, vocals), Ray Duffy (drums), Tag Griffiths (guitar), Gordon Huntley (pedal steel guitar), and Andy Leigh (bass, vocals), nation rockers Southern Comfort shaped in 1970 and released several releases through the early area of the decade. The group’s debut, Frog Town, was released in 1971, that was implemented up by both a sophomore self-titled discharge and Mix Don’t Tremble in 1972, prior to the quintet split. Soon after, Carl Barnwell continued to create his personal group, Ray Duffy used the pop duo Gallagher & Lyle, as the remaining users continued to session function. A post-mortem compilation, Distilled, adopted in 1976.
