Within the mid-’90s, percussionist Chris Bangs and keyboardist Mick Talbot united while focusing on a task for the acid jazz unit Galliano. Since that time they have place their energies into developing the music of Soundscape UK, which calls for the spirit and disco noises from the ’70s and morphs them into simple, acid solution jazz grooves large on sax and vibes. The set have employed several fine guest music artists in this work, including Lisa Grahame and Martin Pyne. Their debut record, Life Drive was released in 1995 and yielded a high Five simple jazz one, “Morning Melody.” 1998’s Surreal Thing also brought industrial success, paving just how because of their most ambitious task up to now, Uptown Groove, that was released in 2000 and utilized an expanded support band to make a cool smooth jazz audio.
