Sounder

Sounder, a duo whose cerebral, rustic music nod to Iron & Wines and can Oldham, formed in the first 2000s like a cooperation between Mike Aho (who have, at that time he formed the task, had directed many of Bonnie “Prince” Billy’s music video clips) and Steve Stratton. Aho and Stratton released their debut full-length, THERE IS CERTAINLY Another Sunlight Clouded Over with Careful Treatment, on Volcom Entertainment in 2006. Sounder’s second studio room album, GOOD STUFF Come and Proceed Like Bad Issues, hit stores 2 yrs later. Some music video clips aimed by Aho had been made available for the duo’s MySpace profile in the weeks before the album’s launch; a small number of guest performers, including Michael Sieben, Dave Bryant, and Travis Millard, collaborated with Aho on these videos.
