Guitarists and vocalists Kevin McKinney and Costs Cassis formed Soulhat in Tx with bassist Brian Walsh in 1990. They recruited previous Funkadelic drummer Barry E. “Frosty” Smith to check their psychedelic blues-based funk music group, and independently-released Outdebox in 1993 (it had been afterwards re-released by Epic). Live on the Dark Kitty and their second studio room LP, Good to become Gone, implemented in 1994. Six years afterwards, Soulhat issued Test on a set Plane.
