The Soulettes formed in Jamaica through the early 60s and comprised Rita Marley (b. Alpharita Anderson, Cuba), her cousin Constantine Walker (b. 19 Oct 1951, Kingston, Jamaica, Western world Indies), and Marlene Gifford.
