Sorority Noise

Indie quartet Sorority Sound was shaped in 2013 by singer/guitarist Cameron Boucher, who also fronts New Hampshire-based screamo group Aged Gray. Searching for an shop for a few of his newer materials, he enlisted Aged Grey drummer Charlie Vocalist, along with Prawn bassist Ryan McKenna and second guitarist Adam Ackerman, to create Sorority Sound in Hartford, Connecticut. After a small number of early produces, including a cassette EP and digital one, Boucher and his bandmates shipped their debut LP, Forgettable, in early 2014. Fusing items of emo and pop-punk with melodic indie rock and roll, the band ultimately caught the interest of reputed East Coastline indie Best Shelf Information. Released in June of 2015, Pleasure Departed, their follow-up record — and debut for top level Shelf — required a more varied and introspective strategy. It was accompanied by a nationwide tour with Movement Town Soundtrack. 2016 noticed both the launch of a fresh Sorority Sound EP, It Kindly Stopped for me personally, aswell as the reissue of their debut recording, Forgettable, via Broken Globe Media. These offered to create the discharge of their third full-length, YOU ARE NOT as _____ as YOU IMAGINE, this time around arriving via Triple Crown Information in early 2017.
