Sonus Umbra (the audio of darkness) is really a prog music group formed in Mexico. They in fact sprang from a short-lived group called Radio Silence. Upon re-forming, Radio Silence found that their moniker was a distributed one and find the name Sonus Umbra to displace it. Sonus Umbra in those days was Andrés Aullet (vocals, electric guitar, and tips), Ricardo Gómez (electric guitar), and Luis Nasser (bass), plus they got recently moved off their homeland to america shortly prior to making this name modification. The entire year was 1998. The group’s initial record was Snapshots From Limbo.
