A vivid and idiosyncratic storyteller within the grand narrative custom of Tom Waits and Randy Newman, indie folk singer/songwriter Sonny Smith emerged from obscurity in 2003 using the cult favourite THAT IS My Story, THAT IS My Song. That same season, the Sunsets also participated in Smith’s “100 Information” present in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, where 100 performers created record coats by fictional rings for some 7″s offering music developed by Smith.
