Songs of Green Pheasant

Duncan Sumpner, a instructor from Oughtibridge in Sheffield, documented a tape filled with acoustic demos in 2002 and delivered them away to NOUVEAU RICHE BUSINESSMAN Records. Persons in the label declare that they adored the music but in the beginning had trouble producing connection with Sumpner; after they do, they planned the recordings for any release plus they finally made an appearance in 2005 beneath the guise of Tunes of Green Pheasant (while documenting in 2002, Sumpner experienced billed himself Kayak). Affected by ambient falsettos from Simon & Garfunkel to Chat Talk’s Tag Hollis, he worked well the tunes up live with a pal, and embarked on a little tour. He also started focusing on a side task with Adam Davenport of Vibracathedral Orchestra.
