SomethingLs evolved from an acoustic group called August Wonder and Follett, that was established in Sacramento, CA, in 1995. The trio contains lead guitarist Tim Dierkes, lead vocalist Kathy Wonder, and harmonica participant and guitarist Norm Follett. They got for the moniker SomethingLs just a little over a yr later, if they added drummer Billy “Radio” Shower towards the lineup. Keyboardist and bass participant Louis Hadrick arrived up to speed in nov 1996, as well as the music group lowered its acoustic audio and only electric powered guitars. By nov 1997, another member acquired extended the lineup — this time around the music group added accordion participant Torben Jensen. Within half a year, the music group going into Sacramento’s Heaven Studios to focus on its initial record, Xsqueeze Me While I Whip This Out. The lineup shifted once again in Oct of 1998, when bassist Hadrick fell out due to parental and function responsibilities, and Randy Frazier stepped directly into fill the positioning. The group released its initial CD with a celebration kept in the Hard Rock and roll Café’s Sacramento branch. Their one, “Whip Me,” received some regional airplay.
