Cleveland, Ohio’s SomeKindaWonderful help to make natural, rock-inflected R&B centered around business lead vocalist Jordy Towers. The group created after Towers, previously authorized to Interscope Information, parted ways using the label and relocated towards the suburbs of Cleveland from LA. Working at an area bar, Towers fulfilled drummer Ben Schigel and guitarist Matt Gibson, and SomeKindaWonderful had been given birth to. In 2014 they released the solitary “Change,” which garnered airplay on Los Angeles’ KROQ, achieving number five within the station’s most performed list of tunes. Their self-titled debut made an appearance in June of this year.
