Getting their begin beneath the name Solitude back 1987, guitarist John Perez fronted Solitude Aeturnus’ right away as they had been gigging across the Dallas, TX area before launching their first full-length “In to the Depths of Sorrow” in 1991. Their label Ruler Classic went tummy up a couple days after their debut premiered, however, not before Solitude got installed with Roadrunner Information the following season. 1992 noticed their follow-up “Beyond the Crimson Horizon,” which like their first record, got all of the bleak components of a quintessential doom steel band: large riffs, loud vocals, gradual, thundering drums and doomsday’s lyrics. Their third record “With the Darkest Hour” getting their main label debut on BMG information was accompanied by a Western european tour and an opportunity to tour with Merceful Destiny -not to say having the possibility to hang making use of their hero and Merceful Destiny frontman Ruler Gemstone. With “Downfall” getting their forth and last record for BMG, 1999’s “Adagio” premiered by Olympic Information following a three season hiatus of label looking and continuous touring.
