Solitaire

Schulte called the group, actually, after his admiration for the music on Desert Solitaire, an recording by American synthesists Steve Roach, Kevin Braheny, and Michael Stearns (observe list under Roach). Solitaire’s dark, textural items and occasional cultural rhythms certainly are a designated contrast towards the sequencer-dominated history from the ’70s German digital college popularized by Tangerine Wish and Klaus Schulze.
