Snatch

Snatch was the duo of Patti Palladin and Judy Nylon, a set of expatriates who all recorded their punk scree on the former’s level in London, Britain. They documented a demonstration with several music in 1976; Bomp’s Greg Shaw wanted to discharge anything from it, as well as the I.R.T. solitary, featuring two from the demos, premiered in Feb of 1977. Their following solitary, All I’D LIKE, added drummer Jerry Nolan, bassist Bruce Douglas, guitarist Keeth Paul, and pianist Nick Plytas towards the lineup. It wasn’t released until March of 1978. The 12″ Searching for Clothing, released on Fetish, required even much longer, surfacing in Apr of 1980. Palladin reached her very best level of popularity as the detached tone of voice behind the Soaring Lizards’ edition of “Cash (That’s What I’D LIKE).”
