Snapcase

Buffalo, NY-based progressive emocore quintet Snapcase had been originally made up of vocalist Daryl Taberski, guitarists Scott Dressler and Jon Salemi, bassist Bob Whiteside, and drummer Tim Redmond. After gaining an enthusiastic group of fans one of the hardcore community’s revived straight-edge picture, the group agreed upon to the Success label and debuted in early 1995 with Lookinglasself; their follow-up EP, Measures, appeared afterwards that same calendar year. In 1997, Snapcase released their following LP, Development Through Unlearning; the band’s third full-length, Styles for Automotion, implemented in early 2000. Manufacturer Brian McTernan lent his contact on 2002’s End Transmitting, some sort of idea album in regards to a futuristic culture; Snapcase after that spent 8 weeks touring using the similar-minded Boy Pieces Fire following record’s discharge. A diverse mixture of addresses, remixes, and music left from End Transmitting surfaced another year on Shiny Flashes. 2 yrs afterwards — and after 14 years being a music group — Snapcase threw within the towel. By this time around, founding associates Taberski and Salemi have been curved out on the way by guitarist Frank Vicario, bassist Dustin Perry, and drummer Ben Lythberg. The important hardcore clothing performed its last present at Buffalo’s Sphere on January 22, 2005.
