Nick Taylor is among the best-known trance performers in Australia, where he lives in Byron Bay. In 1991, he started employed in Tokyo with Tsuyoshi Suzuki as Blissed, and documented an EP (Blissed) and an record (Rite Of Passing) that was released on POD Marketing communications two years afterwards. The pair therefore became Prana if they transferred to London in 1993. Taylor done the initial Prana record, Cyclone (1996) before time for Australia where he started recording beneath the brands Snake Thing (for Suggestion Information) and Reflector. After adding a remix of ‘Scarab’ to Prana’s second record Geomantik in Sept 1997 he released the EP Scorch which signalled a move towards a psychedelic breakbeat audio. Through the same calendar year he also blended the compilation Experience The Noize for Matsuri.
