Slingshot Dakota

Slingshot Dakota certainly are a keyboard-and-drum indie rock and roll duo from Bethlehem, Pa comprising Carly Comando and Tom Patterson. Known because of their high-energy, emotive design and interweaving man/feminine harmonies, the group continues to be compared to likewise equipped duos like Matt and Kim and Mates of Condition. Comando initially produced the music group in 2004 with Pat Schramm and Jeff Cunningham in the pop-punk group Latterman. Pursuing their debut record, Keener Sighs, both Schramm and Cunningham still left the group, and Comando reworked Slingshot Dakota being a duo with Patterson signing up for on drums and vocals. Their 2007 LP Their Dreams Are Deceased, But Ours May be the Golden Ghost! organized their distinctive design, which features Comando working her digital piano through myriad results to make their powerful audio. In 2012, they produced their Topshelf Recordings debut using the record Dark Hearts. Break, their 4th record together, found its way to early 2016.
