A globe-spanning deathcore trio that mixes punitive extreme steel with blackened, groove-blasted grindcore, Slaughter to Prevail was founded in 2014 by U.K.-structured shredder Jack Simmons, and Russian vocalist Alex Shikolai and drummer Anton Poddyachy. The group slipped their debut EP, Chapters of Misery, in 2016 which garnered a hill of YouTube sights and downloading via the punishing one “Hell.” An archive cope with Sumerian was inked quickly thereafter, and in 2017 they released their full-length debut, Misery Sermon.
