Slant 6

Acquiring their name from a Dodge engine, Slant 6 surfaced around the Washington DC scene in the summertime of 1992. Comprised of Myra Power (Lucky 13), Christina Billotte (Autoclave), and Marge Marshall, they proceeded to go into the studio room and created a three track solitary for Dischord in 1993, and toured the U.S. for a lot of that 12 months. Their first recording, SODA Rip Off, was documented in Washington DC, and was made by longtime Dischord mainstay Don Zientara and Fugazi guitarist Ian MacKaye. Another album, Inzombia, along with a break up 7- inch solitary were released in 1995. After splitting up in 1995, Myra Power used Tarot Bolero, and Marge Marshall began her own style line, known as Babyteeth.
