Biography

A favorite and versatile music group singer within the 40s, Nelson sang with Teddy Powell before overtaking from Ray Eberle using the Glenn Miller civilian music group in later 1942. Nelson sang on such Miller strikes as ‘Dearly Beloved’, ‘Moonlight Becomes You’, ‘Moonlight Disposition’ and ‘That Aged Black Magic’. Within the middle-40s he became a member of Man Lombardo’s Orchestra, and highlighted on the big 1944 strike, ‘It’s Love-Love-Love’.
