The surprisingly fertile Puerto Rican ska community continues to be led by Skapulario because the band’s debut in 1991. Though not really the first ever to strike the picture (supply the credit to Resistencia), the music group soon became typically the most popular having a heady mixture of traditional covers and limited originals. Skapulario also released the very first compact disc by way of a Puerto Rican ska music group, 1994’s Vida en Espiral, which included the radio strikes “Duerme a Tu Hermanito” and “La Fiesta Ska.” Lead vocalist Ferdi remaining the music group in 1996 to create a big-band/ska task, but keyboard participant and mind songwriter David offered a far more than capable replacement unit.
