Sixx: A.M.

Created in 2006 as an audio accompaniment to Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx’s autobiography The Heroin Diaries, hard rock-band Sixx: A.M. feature the skills of Sixx, vocalist Wayne Michael, and DJ Ashba. The 13 songs that define The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack, the group’s 2007 debut, coincide using the book’s chapters, painting a surreal musical family portrait that utilizes the outrageous theatrics of ’80s locks metal, spoken term items, electro-industrial beats, and the casual burst of circus music to inform the story of Sixx’s rise to stardom and famous fall from elegance. The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack premiered on Eleven Seven Information in August of 2007, spawning a gold-selling strike solitary with “Existence Is Gorgeous.” Two even more tunes also fared well on the present day rock graphs, prompting Nikki Sixx to carefully turn the music group — originally conceived like a one-off documenting project — right into a full-fledged touring group. Sixx: A.M. strike the street in 2008 and finally came back to the saving studio room, where they started working on materials for any sophomore discharge in Apr 2009. Since it turned out, the next record (like its forerunner) was a partner soundtrack to Sixx’s second reserve, THAT IS Gonna Harm, which combined photos with self-penned passages in regards to the musician’s profession. Although Sixx came back to Mötley Crüe for the farewell tour in 2014, he also completed the 3rd Sixx: A.M. record, Modern Classic, that same season. Appearing in Oct of 2014, Contemporary Classic was a lighter, glammier record than its predecessors; it peaked at 20 on Billboard’s Best 200. 2 yrs later emerged the two-part Prayers for the Damned, whose initial installment arrived in the springtime of 2016. The next quantity, Prayers for the Blessed, Vol. 2, found its way to November of this year.
