Sister Soleil

The electronic-pop project Sister Soleil was primarily a car for Chicago-based singer and composer Stella Katsoudas, who first surfaced like a backing vocalist on records from industrial acts including Die Warzau and Chemlab. In 1997 she released the EP Drown Me in You on her behalf personal Katharsis label; after it offered over 20,000 copies, Sister Soleil was authorized to the Common label, which released the full-length Soularium in 1998.
