Sister 7

Austin, Texas-based Sister 7 comprised vocalist Patrice Pike, guitarist Wayne Sutton, bassist Darrell Phillips and drummer Sean Phillips (zero relation). Formed away from an impromptu 1991 jam program, the group — originally dubbed Small Sister — debuted over the SBK/EMI label in 1994 using a live EP, Totally free Appreciate and Nickel Beverage, spotlighting their fusion of hard rock and roll, funk and hip-hop; an area over the H.O.R.D.E. tour as well as the self-financed Small Sister/Sister 7, documented for Rhythmic Information, implemented in 1994. After putting your signature on towards the Arista Austin label, Sister 7 resurfaced in 1997 with This the Trip; Wrestling Over Tiny Issues followed within the springtime of 2000.
