Biography

Before you begin his career being a solo artist, Kevin Coyne was the centerpiece of Siren. The group documented two albums in the past due ’60s and early ’70s for Dandelion, the United kingdom underground-oriented indie operate by DJ John Peel off. The pathways that Coyne would follow on his many solo albums are very much in proof in Siren’s function, which limelight his pained, scraggly, and soulful vocals, in addition to his funny, occasionally bitter lyrics. Guitarist Dave Clague (who was simply once within the Bonzo Pet dog Music group) and pianist Nick Cudworth helped Coyne pencil a lot of Siren’s materials, and provided a lot of the low-key bluesy, folksy preparations. Siren’s slender discography was doubled and some within the middle-’90s, when DJC developed three albums of mainly unreleased materials.
