Sioux Falls

Indie rock and roll trio Sioux Falls started as the high-school task of guitarist Isaac Eiger and bassist Fred Nixon. Influenced by rings like Modest Mouse and Pixies, both friends started shaping their melodic post-punk audio and playing gigs around their hometown of Bozeman, Montana. By 2012, that they had self-released an EP and relocated to Portland, Oregon, where they recruited drummer Ben Scott. Once founded, they knocked out another couple of EPs in 2013’s Big Krackel and 2014’s Lamps Off for Risk before starting up with Pittsburgh-based indie Damaged World Press. With a fresh label set up, Sioux Falls spent 2015 overall their debut recording, Rot Forever, that was released in early 2016.
