Simâ Binâ


The career of Iranian songstress Sima Bina could be split into two specific phrases: a kid prodigy who hosted her own radio show, Golhayeh Sahraie (Wild Flowers), and an adolescent who initially centered on the classical music tradition of her homeland. Pressured through the stage from the politics problems that struck Iran in 1979 as well as the enactment of the law prohibiting ladies from performing, Bina became a collector of Khorassan and Persian folk tracks and started composing her personal tracks with poet Mohammed Ebrahim Djafari and dotar participant Hamid Khezri. Despite her change in repertoire, Bina is constantly on the project excitement and friendliness with her extremely psychological vocals. After graduating having a degree in good arts in 1969, she continuing her musical research with Davani.
