Sigmund Romberg

Romberg studied violin and composition being a youth in Vienna, but pursued a profession as an engineer. Shifting to the united states in 1909, Romberg produced his living being a pianist and dance-band head. He begun to publish his compositions in 1912, and in 1914 he had taken a posture as personnel composer for the Schubert testimonials. He wrote intimate operettas at the moment, and his initiatives produced the final popular functions of this genre.
