Biography

Although he’s far better known for his radio stints like a soul music disc jockey and in addition an announcer within the “Soul Teach” system, Sid McCoy was the main jazz maker for Vee Jay. He created times by Wayne Shorter, Wynton Kelly, Lee Morgan, Eddie Harris among others on Vee Jay from your past due ’50s to the first ’60s.
