Sibylla Rubens

Soprano Sibylla Rubens began in the 1990s to determine a career being a concert and Lieder vocalist, and, to a smaller level, opera. She examined at the Condition Musikhochschule in the city of Trossingen and continuing on the Hochschule for Music and Great Arts in Frankfurt am Primary. Her passions after graduation are noticeable from her continuing studies: get good at classes in Lieder interpretation with Irwin Cage (an excellent Lieder accompanist and trainer), other get good at classes with Edith Mathis (an excellent Lieder vocalist), and carrying on research since 1992 with another observed Lieder vocalist, Elsa Cavelti, in Basle, Switzerland. Rubens provides sung in celebrations and concerts around European countries. She sings the fantastic oratorios and various other full-scale works from the Baroque to Intimate period, including Bach cantatas and passions, Mozart public, Magnificat, and Requiem, Handel’s Messiah and Israel in Egypt, Haydn’s Creation and Periods, Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Lobgesang, Schumann’s Moments from Faust, Brahms’ German Requiem and Fauré’s Requiem, and Mahler’s 4th Symphony. Furthermore, she’s performed Alfred Schnittke’s Requiem and in Denisov’s agreement of Schubert’s Lazarus. She works together with both “primary equipment” and regular orchestras and their conductors. Included in these are such stars from the concert stage as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Helmuth Rilling, as well as the Stuttgart Bach Academy, the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, Philippe Herreweghe as well as the Chapelle Royale, Hartmut Haenchen, the NDR Symphony Orchestra of Hannover, the Amsterdam Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Leopold Hager, the Bavarian Radio Orchestra, the Southwest German Radio Symphony Orchestra under Michael Gielen, Herbert Blomstedt as well as the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, Frans Brüggen as well as the Orchestre de Paris, and Christopher Hogwood as well as the Beethoven Akademie. Rubens is definitely popular for summer season music celebrations, and continues to be praised on her behalf singing from the Mozart tasks of Marcellina (Relationship of Figaro) and Pamina (The Magic Flute) in the Stuttgart Condition Opera. From Apr 2001 she started a tour group of Lieder evenings with bass Thomas Quasthoff.
