Precursors from the esoteric audio eventually tagged “post-rock,” Shrimp Vessel was among the main element Chicago indie rings of their period, with users later going to even greater achievement in groups just like the Ocean and Wedding cake. Originally made up of vocalist/guitarist Sam Prekop, guitarist Ian Schneller, bassist and David Kroll, Shrimp Vessel created in 1985. Their affinity for uncommon period signatures, jazz-influenced constructions and amazing rhythms had been unlike other things on the modern Chicago golf club circuit.
