A Detroit funk group whose excitement didn’t pay back in hit singles. Trumpeter Richard Sebastian, saxophonist Greg Ingram, keyboardist/business lead guitarist Billy Talbert, guitarist Ernest Latimore, bassist Larry Austin, drummer/vocalist Tyrone Steels, and percussionist Leslie Carter produced entertaining tunes in the very best Ohio Players/Slave/Cameo setting but by no means could property the elusive strike. In addition they toured with Rick Wayne while saving for ABC, MCA, and Montage in the past due ’70s and early ’80s.
