Shock of Pleasure

Dallas-based Shock of Pleasure was originally conceived by ex-Stranger Than Fiction singer/songwriter Robert Romano in 2004, right before he was introduced to singer/leggy blonde super model tiffany livingston Kelley Religious. With shared goals of fabricating a downtempo electronic-based documenting project comparable to Portishead and Thievery Company, both recruited manufacturer David Castell, who began developing ambient noises and beats over melody tips that Romano developed on an classical guitar.
