Shlohmo

Avant-garde hip-hop maker and LA indigenous Henry Laufer goes on the alias Shlohmo. He began producing music at age 14, and by 17 he was producing cinematic beats in the same nature as Soaring Lotus, J-Roc, and Ras G. In 2008, during his older year of senior high school, he co-founded Wedidit Collective, an online label/community of L.A. performers (offering Elan, RL Dirt, Groundislava, D33J, Jonwayne, Melonious Drunk, Juj, Zeroh, Dr. Blount, and NonEpic). Following a three EPs Shlo-Fi, Camping, and Locations, as well as the mini-album Shlomoshun Deluxe, Laufer released his 1st full-length, 2011’s Poor Vibes on Close friends of Close friends. Shlohmo finished remixes for a number of dance, indie, and hip-hop/R&B performers (including Lianne La Havas, LOL Kids, as well as the Weeknd), and collaborated with Banking institutions and Jeremih in 2014. He agreed upon to Accurate Panther Noises in 2015, launching the metal-inspired DEEP RED full-length, and touring using a music group including fellow Wedidit associates.
