Shep Pettibone

Although most widely known for his function in colaboration with Madonna, producer and remixer Shep Pettibone first emerged through the early ’80s like a force in hip-hop; with Arthur Baker, he was in charge of Afrika Bambaataa as well as the Jazzy Five’s important “Jazzy Feeling,” and concurrent using the rise of scratching along with other turntable improvements developed KISS-FM’s “mastermixes.” From the middle-’80s, Pettibone is at hot demand, creating and remixing paths for such dance-pop innovators because the Family pet Shop Kids and New Purchase; his most effective collaboration, nevertheless, was with Madonna, for whom he created some strikes, including “Vogue,” “Leading to a Commotion,” and “Justify My Like.”
