Tx singer/songwriter Shelley Laine initial made her love of music via her parents, whose wide-ranging listening tastes (traditional, jazz, nation, gospel, blues, rock and roll) left the feeling on her in early stages. By age 16, Laine was composing her own music and executing at regional fairs and charity occasions (including starting for Lisa Loeb in a charity concert). A Compact disc that Laine acquired issued herself discovered its way in to the hands of veteran offers/marketing professional Ed Spacek (whose customer list contains Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, the Dixie Chicks, and LeAnn Rimes, amongst others), which resulted in a documenting agreement with Palo-Duro Information. Laine’s debut record, Skipping Stones, implemented in 2001, and showcased the youthful singer’s penchant for penning unforgettable country-pop tunes.
