Sharon Forrester

Biography

After performing for tourists around the north coast of Jamaica, Sharon Forrester was introduced to Geoffrey Chung from the band Right now Era. Impressed with her vocal range, he required her towards the U.K. to accomplish the recording Sharon. She also attempted her hands at performing, starring within the film Moon On the Alley. Her big break arrived on the English television system Aquarius, where she performed a stirring consider of George Harrison’s “Right here Comes sunlight.” In 1994, the electronica motion brought the enthusiasts rock diva in to the general public vision — she performed “Like Inside” more than a jungle tempo for FFRR Information. Her decades-in-the-making second record, THIS TIME AROUND, made an appearance in 1996 to silent acclaim. She also added support vocals for Burning up Spear, Jimmy Cliff, and Alpha Blondy, amongst others.
