Shanren

Chinese language indie folk quartet Shanren shaped in 2000 in the country’s remote control Yunnan province. Presently located in Beijing, the group fuses collectively a variety of indigenous music, rock and roll, reggae, as well as ska, using traditional tools just like the four-stringed xiangzi as well as the xianggu drum.
