Shane Yellowbird

Given birth to in Hobbema, Alberta, Canada, Cree Shane Yellowbird was deceased set on learning to be a cowboy, before his stuttering condition indirectly landed him the uncommon privilege to be among Canada’s young leading country vocalist/songwriters. He was raised immersed in Canadian cowboy lifestyle, understanding how to rope and trip, and participating in and taking part in many rodeos. Ironically, his treatment for stated stuttering issue led him to a far more musical future. The record was popular, spawning several singles and earning Yellowbird the Aboriginal Entertainer of the entire year Award on the 2007 Aboriginal People’s Choice Music Honours. In 2007, Yellowbird’s one “PICKUP” hit the very best Five, and in 2008 he gained a Juno Prize nomination for Canada’s greatest in nation music.
