Shallows

LA pop duo Shallows may be the task of singer Dani Poppitt and guitarist/manufacturer Marshall Gallagher. Both songwriters place their heads jointly in 2016 to make a cross types of alt-rock, shoegaze, and mainstream dance pop that they self-described as glitter pop. Debuting using the hooky one “Summertime Sucks,” they curved out their first year year with a set of darker monitors, “Trip to Die” and “Empire of the pet.” Shallows’ initial two singles of 2017, “Matter” and “Drive Apart,” shown a brighter ’80s-indebted experience.
