Biography

An exceptionally eclectic mixture of music genres, including Middle Eastern and North Indian, is exactly what maintains this Canadian group around the leading edge of global music. Created by guitarist Anthony Seck and guitarist/oud participant Sam Shalabi in 1996, the group uses fundamental plans but credits free of charge improvisation because the key with their achievement. In 1996, the group released a cassette documenting which was adopted up in 1998 with the addition of two additional music artists. Will Eizlini and Alexandre St. Onge became a member of the group, who became known in Ontario and Quebec for using Country wide Film Table of Canada video footage like a backdrop with their live shows within the design of Godspeed You Dark Emperor! In 1998, the group released Aural Florida and performed in a variety of locations in Montreal and Ottawa. In 2001, the group toured america and Europe to get their 2000 launch, Shalabi Impact s/t. The group includes a quite simple approach to documenting, usually doing only 1 take per track, developing a loose and fascinating album every time out.
