b. Adam D. Harris, 12 Apr 1921, Earle, Arkansas, USA, d. 2 March 1990, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, USA. A specialist gambler you should definitely playing harmonica (his nickname was produced from the crapshooters’ contact ‘Tremble ’em, Jake’), Harris started playing in Chicago blues rings during the past due 40s. His 1958 solitary ‘Contact Me IF YOU WANT Me’/‘Move Your Moneymaker’, documented for the Creative subsidiary of Cobra Information, featured guitar function by his nephew Magic Sam. Through the 60s he documented two albums that didn’t perform him justice, as golf club recordings with Sam make apparent. His encouragement of young musicians caused the documenting debut of, amongst others, Luther Allison, with whom Jake documented his best recording after shifting to LA. In old age, occasional recordings made an appearance, including some by himself label, and Harris went a blues golf club for some time, but was dogged by illness and isolated by neighbourhood gang assault.
