The Shady Grove Music group was a bluegrass quartet that played both traditional and newgrass. These were founded in the first ’80s by vocalist/guitarist Jerry Dark brown in Chapel Hill, NEW YORK. Other band people included vocalist/songwriter/bassist Adael Shinn, who was simply born and elevated in Kannapolis, NEW YORK and got her begin playing bass with such performers as Earl Scruggs and John Hartford; Charles Pettee, who performed mandolin and in addition wrote lots of the tracks; and banjo picker Jason Shoreline. Between 1985 and 1994, Shady Grove documented four albums like the Chapel Hillbilly Method.
