Sextile

Acquiring the astrological term for the harmonious union of two conflicting elements, Los Angeles’ Sextile similarly mixes industrial, surf-punk, psychobilly, and ambient within their raw yet dramatic post-punk. In 2014, guitarist/vocalist Brady Keehn and drummer/vocalist Melissa Scaduto transferred from Brooklyn to L.A., where they shortly fulfilled bassist Kenny Elkin and guitarist/keyboardist Eddie Wuebben. Writing similar flavor in music and a love from the occult, Sextile enticed the interest of Felte Information when they opened up for Ritual Howls. Their debut for the label, ONE THOUSAND Hands (that was called after a eyesight Wuebben acquired during an open-eye deep breathing session) found its way to August 2015.
