Shaped in Greenville, NEW YORK, USA, by Chuck Manning (vocals, guitar), John Bateman (guitar), Jim Bury (bass) and Jon Chambliss (drums), this steel outfit got its name from an area expression: ‘It’s a term that folks call other folks around here – SLAM babies – their primary worries are Sex, Like and Cash. To us it’s a deeper, darker, and much more realistic watch of what we should think everybody’s unseen engine is certainly’. Bateman graduated from Greenville’s respectable Art College, after spending a lot of his lifestyle in Columbia, SOUTH USA. This bred an early on desire for both metallic and flamenco. He installed with the rest of the members who have been taking part in a Ramones -affected punk music group in Apr 1991.
