Seventh Void

A side project of Type O Bad associates Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly, Seventh Void were originally conceived in 2003 through the recording of Type O’s Lifestyle Is Killing Me personally. Seventh Void eschew the goth impact within Type O Harmful and only a dirtier stoner/doom audio, with Southern steel riffage similar to Pantera combined with gradual, plodding heaviness of Crowbar. The effect is similar to a darker, heavier edition of Velvet Revolver, with music that pushes simply beyond the limitations of hard rock and roll and in to the world of steel. By 2005, that they had solidified a lineup, with Hickey on electric guitar and vocals, Kelly on drums, Supermassiv guitarist Matt Dark brown, and Inhuman bassist Hank Hell. Using the pieces set up, they began documenting, squeezing with time if they could between Type O Bad albums and touring. Four years in the producing, their debut full-length, Heaven IS FULLY GONE, was finally released in Apr of 2009 on Big Vin Information, possessed by Pantera’s Vinnie Paul.
