Seven Lions

Melding mainstream pop, trance, and dubstep, California maker Jeff Montalvo quickly amassed a cult pursuing beneath the alias Seven Lions. The onetime drummer transitioned to music creation in 2007, and soon thereafter he received a competition kept from the trance take action Above & Beyond by remixing their track “YOU HAVE to visit.” Achievement snowballed. At 25 years aged, his debut EP, Times to Arrive, was pointed out on Vibe’s Best Electronic Albums set of 2012, and later on that 12 months he gained interest internationally when his music found regular rotation on BBC’s Radio 1. Another EP, Polarize, premiered by Viper Recordings in Apr of 2013. He relocated to the Casablanca label and a 12 months later on the Worlds Aside EP hit number 2 around the Billboard Best Dance/Electronic Albums graph, also landing around the Billboard 200. Carrying on a slowly developing emphasis on tune type, The Throes of Wintertime came back him to both graphs in 2015 and topped the Heatseekers Albums graph. In 2017, the Creation EP became his initial Billboard dance/digital number one.
